Tu B’Shvat, or Rosh HaShanah La'Ilanot, is the Jewish New Year of the Trees; a time to cultivate gratitude for the earth and its abundance, and awareness of environmental issues affecting our planet.
Join us in a special potluck - please bring dishes that celebrate the earth’s abundance! Kid’s activities and crafts start at 5:30 pm, dinner at 6, followed by a Tu B’Shvat ice cream seder for dessert (similar to a Passover seder but with songs and blessings, but instead of matza and charoset, we’ll eat particular types of fruits and nuts, along with colored ice creams to represent the four seasons!).
