Join us to celebrate the festival of Shavuot - the holiday commemorating the story of the Israelites receiving the Torah on Mount Sinai. our service will include our usual Shabbat sonsgs, prayers, and poetry, and in addition, we'll follow the Shavuot custom of reading Torah's final verses and beginning verses, symbolizing that the study of Torah is a never ending cycle. Shavuot is an agricultural festival; a harvest holiday celebrated with decorative greenery and flowers, so feel free to bring something beautiful to decorate with! And last - but not least - dairy foods are typically eaten on Shavuot - expect cheesecake!
