On Saturday, October 7th, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is sponsoring the 8th Annual Barb Macholz Grimaldi Meal Packaging Event at Grace Lutheran Church’s Food Bank. They've invited Havurah members to join them. Several of us participated last year and found it very meaningful. 

If you'd like to help out, join us at Holy Trinity at 8:30 am for bagels and coffee with Holy Trinity members, and we'll leave there at 9:00am to carpool to Grace Lutheran at 36th and Haverford in Philadelphia, where we'll pack the food.  Volunteers will vacuum seal freeze dried food to be used by Grace as emergency food distribution for folks with limited resources. 20,000 meals will be packaged between 9:30am and 1:00 pm. Lunch will be served and we should be home by mid afternoon if you've come in carpools from Holy Trinity, or you can drive separately if you need to leave early. 

Approximately $3,000 is needed to purchase the items to be packaged. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so online here. If you prefer to donate via check, please mail it to the church office at 196 Woodbine Ave., Narberth, PA 19072.
