Shabbat Services
We welcome all to join us for Shabbat services, to share ideas for services, and to add your energy and spirit to our welcoming of Shabbat. We generally meet the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month, either on Friday evening, Saturday AM or Saturday evening/Havdalah. We offer a variety of services that incorporate ritual, singing and prayer with discussion, meditation and contemplation. Following most all of our services are candlelighting (in evenings), kiddush and a motzi, and occasionally dessert onegs. We meet often at St. Johns Episcopal Church (404 Levering Mill Road, Bala Cynwyd) or in homes or outdoor spaces. We encourage you to visit our calendar on the home page [link to it] to find the date of our next service and come check one out. We look forward to meeting you.
Our scheduled fall services include: Friday, 10/14, Sukkot at Schuh home: Family service; lulavs; potluck; prayers & discussion
Friday, 10/21, Simchat Torah at St. Johns Church grounds; bonfire; pizza; smores
Saturday, 11/12, Shabbat morning family service w/Torah at Weisbord home
Friday 11/18, Shabbat Gathering at Seng/Shostak home
Friday, 12/9, Shabbat Adult Service at St. Johns Parish House
